Namaste! I’m Tanya running to be the Sponsorship Officer. Given the opportunity, I would thoroughly commit myself in positively impacting the wealth of the society. I'm drawn to this role as sourcing maximum funds and upholding sponsor deals are undoubtably vital in creating a fantastic HinduSoc experience for the upcoming year, which given my skills and enthusiasm, I am certain I can do. 

My experiences cement confidence in my skills to be successful as the Sponsorship Officer:

• An internship at the IEA equipped me in dealing with sizeable responsibility

• The McKinsey Leadership Academy taught me what it means to lead with intention

• SISU at Morgan Stanley and a spring week at Nomura demonstrates finance knowledge

• 2 years of experience in dealing with accounts as the Finance Director of a student start-up

As Sponsorship Officer I plan to;

• Generate the best deals with sponsor firms, making events bigger and better by creating an attractive sponsorship package with the Marketing team

• Expand funding in order to branch out financial support to a wider variety of events

• Prioritise collaboration over competition with fellow societies to maximise sponsor funding

Beyond deal-making, resilience and commitment are vital as a Sponsorship Officer, both qualities I pride myself in. Therefore, with this in combination with some fun of course, I believe I'd make a great fit for this role!
