Angelica Meneely

Hi everyone! I’m Angelica and I’m running for Her Campus Vice President/Campus Correspondent. I’ve truly enjoyed being part of this society, starting as a writer last year and working now as an Editor, and I have particularly loved seeing its growth as a community. I am appreciative of the society’s genuine sense of inclusion and aspire to maintain its already well-established foundations. 

My goals for the year are: 

-In accordance with our mission statement, to ensure that Her Campus continues to promote itself as an empowering and inclusive space, through our produced content and outreach to other students. As a mixed-race woman myself, I wholeheartedly understand that diversity and inclusion are paramount to building our community. 

-To make sure that everyone in the team, from the President to a one-off contributor, feels supported and heard, by delegating tasks fairly and by clear communication. 

-Whether it’s through written collaborations or activities, to maintain existing and also create new, open dialogues with other members, other UCL students/societies, and with the international branches of the magazine. 

As a Comparative Literature student who is currently studying abroad, I have really learnt how to push myself to new limits and value meeting new people from all around the world, while also balancing multiple tasks through the use of my good organisational and open communication skills.
