Hi! I’m Jennifer, running for Her Campus Senior Editor. As editor this year, I’ve read insightful, nuanced articles that push the boundaries of societal and gender norms. This is exactly what I love about Her Campus and what I strive to do both professionally and in my personal life. It is always a work in progress. Her Campus members foster a real sense of sisterhood and companionship while placing young women’s voices at the forefront. I plan on continuing this while also:
Enabling the society’s growth by ensuring the efficiency, fluidity and enjoyability of the writing and editing process
Ensuring the fluid communication between editorial and marketing, which is major to promote the society’s events and activities so that everyone feels involved
Depending on government guidelines next term, I’d promote in-person activities and community-building events
As a comparative literature student currently on my year abroad, I am skilled at managing my time. Through my work experience at an events company, I’ve organised events, articles and created blogs and social media content as a volunteer content creator for What Can We Do? in 2020. I am therefore experienced in editing, writing and content creation, managing various responsibilities at the same time while remaining attentive to others‘ needs and opinions. I’d love to help Her Campus grow and continue being a place of creativity and foster a real sense of community.
