Harry Potter Society: Social Secretary

After being a member of the society for a few years, I’d love to help out with the actual running of things next year.

If elected as social sec, which I’m told translates to “lead Instagram poster”, I will (attempt to):

• continue our new tradition of weekly Wednesday quizzes
• increase interactivity on the society’s Instagram - stories that prompt responses, polls, voting (e.g. would you rather, favourite characters, most tragic scenes, book vs movie moments)
• try to promote the society more widely through interactions with other UCL societies on social media
• introduce #funfactfriday: for an added cliche, a *super* fun, behind-the-scenes Harry Potter related bit of trivia (preparation for a future society quiz event? ?)
• post MORE MEMES, because who doesn’t love a good meme?

But primarily, I’ll be on hand to help the rest of the committee with whatever is most needed with the organisation & execution of events.
