Election post
Marketing has been a great part of my life outside the classroom. In the past year, I interned at an advertising and PR agency and also took on the role of Marketing Executive in other UCL societies. Such experiences have equipped me with the various skills necessary for this role, ranging from the more technical side of things such as digital design and social media management to interpersonal skills such as communication and collaboration. Moreover, my role as faculty representative has taught me the importance of listening to feedback and acting on them to bring about positive changes. This is something I aim to achieve in every role I take on.
I have always wanted to become a member of the UCL Guild committee. My past experiences with the UCL Guild Masterclass and Guild Academy Alumni Panel have been extremely fulfilling. UCL Guild is not only a platform that helps one take off their career but also a supportive community that allows students to find like-minded peers. I want to do my own bit in helping the society grow even more and provide greater opportunities for students. As the Head of Marketing, I strive to promote UCL Guild’s initiatives to more students by making use of different marketing platforms, producing new and creative marketing content, as well as initiating collaboration with other societies and organisations both in and out of UCL.
