Green Economy Society: Newsletter Manager

Hi! I’m Sarah, a first-year Law student. ?? As both a personal cause and potential career path, I am passionate about sustainability and ESG. I am interested in how we can create a tangibly greener and more sustainable economy from a top-down level.

As your Newsletter Manager, I will aim to produce

news and insights!! As a Law undergrad who was previously strongly interested in Humanities and geopolitics in high school, I can definitely add a fascinating lens to exploring the concept of a green economy.

Beyond just news, I will aim to share about career or sustainability-related opportunities and events too.

Through my current role as committee for UCL Climate Action Society and my previous volunteering experience with sustainability organizations, I realized that sustainability concerns exist in a complex and largely grey area; made further complicated as businesses navigate and evolve in areas like O&G, green financing and technology. I am especially interested in exploring these fascinating tensions and sharing my insights with you!!!
