Throughout the year I've actively attended many workshops hosted by the society, such as hiphop, waacking, locking, house, krump, and concepts. In these workshops, I can not only feel that I've learnt more about the different genres of dance, but also became more confident about freestyling in front of a crowd. As president, I want to help others feel more confident and passionate in dancing, and also help expose them to more styles and genres of dance. More importantly, I want to help build a positive environment where dancers encourage each other to dance, regardless of their level, so everyone has a chance to share ideas and feed off each other when freestyling.
