Eden T Gill

Having played football all my life, I was very excited to get to continue playing in university and my experience playing for the first team over the course of the past year has been amazing. I have learned so much from our coaches, captains, and my fellow teammates. Growing up playing football in colorado, and later spain, I have learned to adapt to a range of playing styles and players. I feel that these opportunities and my experience as captain of the varsity team in my high school have allowed me to understand important qualities such as communication, perseverance, and enthusiasm in order to build a strong team dynamic. I love the community that the UCL women’s football has built and would like the opportunity to contribute in a leadership position. Going into my last year at UCL, it would be my goal as first team captain to motivate and encourage everyone to do their best to have a successful season and end the year with a strong varsity win.
