Daniel Bennett

Hi everyone!! I am re-running for Vice President of First Gen Society for 2022/23 to help continue the amazing progress we made this year. This year's committee have done a great job - starting from almost zero foundations to putting on a range of careers and social events. As a member for the last 2 years it has been wonderful to see the community grow so quickly and I can't wait for its future growth too. The Mentoring Programme has been a big part of the careers side to the society and I am keen to co-lead this again as I would love to make some improvements next year.  Thanks

Aldrie Chandradinata

Hi there, my name is Aldrie and I am a first-year Electronic and Electrical Engineering student!

As this year's First-Year Representative, I am very familiar with the operations of the society and have also experienced first-hand the impact it has on first-generation students. I intend to ensure that our society continues to empower first-gen students at UCL. I have experience in leadership and I also enjoy working together in a team so I believe that I am suitable for this role.

As your next Vice President, my main objectives are:
1) Support the expansion of the mentorship programme, which I am currently working on as a First-Year Representative
2) Increase collaboration with other societies that share the same values
3) Host in-person career events, especially career workshops
4) Be receptive to the needs of the society's members

If you'd like to see these objectives being implemented, I would greatly appreciate your support.
