I believe that at a place like UCL it is important for people from similar backgrounds to connect with each other- whether at a social or at an opportunities-based event, which is why I initially signed up for this role. This role has allowed me to play an active part in ensuring first generation students come together, and I want to continue doing just that. Throughout the past academic year, I have thoroughly enjoyed my role as an events executive, and it would mean a lot to me to continue this role in my final year.
