As an Information Management for Business student that’s been in the UCLE society since the first semester of university, I know and believe I have a passion and family sense in this society. Starting as the event's executive and being the head of events and socials this year, I was able to connect wonderful entrepreneurs with amazing students who get inspired by the entrepreneurs/ start-ups that come to give speeches/panels. I believe I have a lot to offer if I become the Director of Bloomsbury Startup Academy to continue inspiring young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams and find opportunities to express their goals. My biggest dream for next year is to create the online platform which Max, our former peer who passed away was starting to create. This way, BSA would have something permanent that would always stay as an opportunity for future students to get inspired to work on their start-ups. Being in society for 2 years now had an impact on me to become a better individual for myself and others; I know not only people who take business and management courses but whoever has a goal to create a start-up or has an idea can join the BSA family and can find inspiration to create new realities. I believe every student has a lot they can achieve and if I become the Director of BSA I would be more than honored to help guide them in their journeys. This society became a family to me and I hope to stay in it with new family members next year.
