Saulet Tanirbergen

In the past two years, I have had the privilege of being both a member and a Head of Events of the Diplomacy Society. However, as much as I enjoyed delivering events to our members, this next year I want to focus on bringing the members of our society together. We are the largest political society at UCL and I think there are many opportunities to socialize, network, and participate in activities together. I promise you that in electing me as your Welfare Officer, you will be guaranteed many socials, in-person events, and general discourse on current issues. 

I am suitable for this role because I have a long history with this society and thus am aware of what our members expect and need. I have also handled the responsibility of organizing speaker events and thus feel that I have a handle over organizing socials. Finally, I feel the most at peace surrounded by people and I am always excited to meet more, thus I would feel the most natural being a Welfare Officer.
