I want to be able to take a more active role in the societies that I am a part of. The Crooks Society is something in the periphery of most people, but I still want to be able to have the opportunity to make a difference, no matter how small.

Pamela Emanuelle

Hello there,

My name is Pamela and I will be a 3rd year Bioprocessing (Science and Engineering) student next year. I've been in Crooks Society for 2 years now, as a first-year rep then last year's events secretary. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time in Crooks, especially while organising and attending the social events. Last year, I organised a lunch social and also collaborated with other engineering societies to organise a trivia quiz night. I also supported the organisation of the other events that our society organised. I heard that we won't be having anymore restrictions next year, so I'm excited to host and organise more socials for us.

I am always open for a chat and suggestions about what you'd like to do for fun, and how we can organise that for you (our events are mostly free so take advantage of that!)

I believe that I would be suited to this position because I'm familiar with how this society runs (online and in-person) and I believe I can lead those who are not as familiar. For next year, I aim to organise more socials that students want, and events that would encourage our love for our department and the people in it. Please vote for me so that I can make sure you'll enjoy your time in UCL Biochemical Engineering in 2022-2023!

Thank you!

Pam
