Hi everyone! I'm in my first year of European Social and Political Studies, specialising in French & Geography.

The games night was my first freshers event this year, and CU has been a really important part of uni for me ever since. By sharing the gospel, CU does the most important work on campus, and I am so excited by the opportunity to support this as the Welfare and Prayer Officer.

With experience leading small group sessions at school, I hope to help create an environment where its easy for CU members to pray together, with faith for what God can achieve through us. The Bible emphasises the need for Christians to encourage one another, and I believe this is foundational to our welfare. University can definitely be challenging - whether its academics, making friends, or emotional and spiritual struggles. I would love to be an approachable figure for all CU members to discuss any issues and seek God's peace together.

I am eager to help the CU be as fruitful as possible. At school, I was a Chaplaincy Prefect, which involved delivering talks, praying regularly and developing initiatives to support the spiritual welfare of my peers. Through this, I developed organisational skills and grew in my desire to serve others.

Over the past year, my understanding of my need to rely on God has grown a lot. With help from the Holy Spirit, I strive to live kindly and purposefully, and to do right by Him. This is the attitude I would bring to my role on the committee.
