Hi guys, I am Linda.
In 2021, I was responsible for chartered flights flying from China to the UK. Together with others, we have successfully organized five chartered flights departing from different cities in China to London, helping thousands of students to travel to London to begin or continue their academic studies.
At the moment, I am the head of the Charity Division at UCLCSSA. Under the current pandemic in the UK, my team members and I carried out many events such as our periodical articles about mental health and charitable figures, a charity sale at the Chinese Temple Fair, and an on-campus charity art touring exhibition. Also we carried out 21-22 Ofund Wondernight with other CSSAs. The raised donations from all these events will be released soon on our official account on WeChat.
This year, I am running for the Treasurer at UCLCSSA. I will cooperate closely with the Secretary and their team to monitor the income and outcome. Ideally, the Secretary will be in charge of the account book, and the Treasurer will look after the actual monetary transactions. I want to make our money inflow and outflow clear as possible. For example, I may try to share the money inflow and outflow for each month on the last day of every month to all members at UCLCSSA. Yet, further details should be discussed with the President.
