I'm honoured to be running for VP of Raising and Giving. RUMS is brimming with brilliant minds and passionate hearts, and I promise to foster an environment of collaboration, inclusivity, and celebrate diverse ideas, to elevate RAGs to new heights.
My vision for RAGs encompasses four key pillars:
Awareness:
Raise awareness about the objectives and missions of RAGs, within RUMS and to the public by seeking guest speaking opportunities to increase engagement. Leverage social media platforms, build relationships with local media outlets and organise engaging events to showcase the abilities and talents of RUMS.
Collaboration:
Partner with local businesses to host fundraising events, reach out and work with leading charities and SPECTRUM to provide new opportunities; and hold bimonthly meetings to monitor progress.
Impact:
Develop clear, compelling missions, a comprehensive fundraising plan and means of measuring impact within the community.
Transparency:
Publish infographic videos of where all raised money goes, share success stories, and show gratitude to those who have contributed.
So why trust me? I'm dedicated to academic excellence and time management, learning to balance studies and extracurriculars effectively. I possess strong leadership through spearheading successful initiatives by motivating others. I will ensure that our efforts are focused, efficient, and transparent, instilling trust and confidence among our donors and beneficiaries of RAGS and RUMS.
