I want to work to create a greater sense of community within surgical society, while also being a reliable point of call to anyone in the society. I hope to run more in life events because I believe this is the best way to interact and connect with people. One of my ideas is to hold Anatomy and Art sessions throughout the year where people can relax while also exploring their passion for anatomy and surgery. I also want to encourage society members to relax and take care of their mental health. I’ll do this by posting book recommendations on the instagram as reading is a great way to unwind. I also want to post different techniques that can help people look after themselves during stressful periods of their lives.
