Having been part of the MedSoc committee last year as an Academic Officer as well as being part of the Conference Team, along with a previous role managing social media, I have developed a solid understanding of all aspects of leading a sub-committee. I love the breadth of Obs & Gynae and its unique mix of medicine and surgery and I am eager to showcase this through our events this year!
These are just some of my ideas:
- Collaborate with the MedSoc Obs and Gynae Team in hosting London Undergraduate Obstetrics and Gynaecology Conference 2024
- Lecture series with a Global Health focus, learning about the surgical management of obstetric conditions in low resource areas
- Interactive, in-person talks where we take a look at different surgical tools used in the management of gynaecological conditions
