After living in a third world country such as Thailand with significantly high poverty, I have dedicated the past five years of my life to creating initiatives, foundations and providing donations to help improve economic development and resource allocation. This started with volunteering at a local charity called the Mercy Center and teaching English and Maths to young kids who have AIDS to volunteering at Bangkok Community Help to provide basic necessities to those unemployment due to COVID-19 in the slum communities. With these experiences, I decided to start my own foundation called P+Equality providing 500+ meals per week to people in Southeast Asia struggling with food insecurity. Therefore, I would like to apply to be the Vice President of the Student Action Against Homelessness Society to create a further impact in England towards improving the situation. As the current Vice President, I believe that by continuing my role, I can make a long-term impact in UCL.
