Yesha Ravani

Hi everyone, my name is Yesha. I am a first-year student studying pharmacy. I am deaf myself so I have experienced communicating with sign language my whole life. Being a deaf person in a hearing world, I have faced many struggles and am still continuing to face them. Taking over the role of a deaf awareness officer in the sign language society would give me the opportunity to teach hearing people the basic signs and educate them on deaf culture. I would like to encourage more people to learn how to sign and to remove the communication barrier between the deaf and the hearing communities :)
