Antonio J Escobar

Hello! Would love to help out the team organizing volunteering events as this is something I’ve done in the past. Getting to know the committee this year made me want to join it to further improve RAX club!

Ines Tancrede

Hi, I’m Ines. I’m half French-Argentinian. Now, I am doing triathlon, but I have done a lot of sports since childhood and also horse-riding and skiing competitions in the French national junior team. I moved to the UK four years ago to study at KCL for my undergraduate in Politics, and now I’m doing an MSc in Environment, Politics and Society at UCL. I would love to become your Community Outreach & Events Officer for the upcoming year as I held this position for the past two years and enjoyed it so much at the Triathlon Society at KCL! I am a very enthusiastic individual who likes working in a team and would be very happy to join the RAX committee.

I was social media officer during my 2nd year, and I had to take this responsibility during my third year in addition to being President of the Triathlon society, as no one else could fill this position. I doubled the number of members and grew the social media outreach by 60%. I loved sharing and organising training but also socials and competitions. I’m missing it, and I would love to feel useful by helping students with similar interests to become friends! I also have some experience in fundraising for sports challenges as I fundraised £2,000 for Breast Cancer Now to cycle from London to Paris early this September. I would do it with the same determination for the London Landmarks Half Marathon in aid of the Children’s Trust and other events.

Zach Taylor

I'm Zach and I've been part of UCL RAX for a over a year. I enjoy being part of the community and would like to get more involved in the society.

Getting involved in charity events is a great way to use running for something bigger. I'd love to be a part of these events and get more people involved in volunteering and outreach. UCL RAX is a growing society and I'd like to help people at the society of different running experience and ability to access events coming up this year.

Ciel (Ceci) Sheridan

Hi, I’m Ciel (or Ceci), and I am standing for Community Outreach and Events Officer for RAX! I’m a track/XC athlete and a Wednesday social run regular, and I’m a first year studying Global Humanitarian Studies here at UCL. I’ve always been passionate about helping others and trying to make an impact in my community, and I believe this position is a perfect opportunity to do so whilst also combining it with another passion of mine: running. I believe this is an exciting chance to become more involved with RAX, and hopefully encourage others to do so as well! I also have experience in leadership and event planning, as I was student council president and XC and athletics captain in my senior year of high school. As an IB graduate, I also have experience in organizing and taking part in service and community outreach opportunities, such as knitting scarves for the local homeless refugee population during winter or raising money through sponsored runs. I have really enjoyed being a part of RAX so far, and I hope that as your Community Outreach and Events Officer, I will have the opportunity to help the community, provide you with new and exciting events and service opportunities, and become more involved with RAX!
