Participating in social events hosted by the Physics society led me to notice the effort put in organising these activities. I am particularly interested in the position of Social Secretary, as I learnt that coordinating and facilitating connections between students via event planning plays is an important part in the communication with participants and overall coordination. 

Therefore, with experience of volunteering as a small class tutor of primary students, I am confident in coordinating sessions and offering fun ideas which bring members closer. Going forward, I hope to promote more diverse and vibrant events for future members, creating a space for like-minded physicists and fellow enthusiasts. I also believe that we should collaborate more with other societies and departments, as this would help us create a more interesting range of social events. Lastly, I am keen to continue taking part in the Physics society as to gain further insight into overall structure and what it involves behind each session.
