Tong Cui

Hi all! I am Tong, a first-year student in the Department of Statistical Science.

I am interested in this position because I am an avid fan of photography; it would be an honor and a valuable experience to work for a university-wide photography society. After attending the information session held earlier, I am very confident to bring high-quality work to the Photo Society due to my past experience in event planning and event photographing. I founded and chaired a city-wide football tournament with over 1000 players participating for the past 5 years. The first tournament in the founding year was awarded China’s TOP10 Teenager Tournament. During my latter internship experiences in the financial sector, I also participated in various customer event planning and took pictures for these events, including client conferences and anniversaries for a company.

Through these events, I acquired concrete management and communication skills to coordinate between different parties involved in event planning, if I'm elected to be the Event Team Officer I will make sure to apply these skills and make my best-possible contributions to the productivity of the team.
