Katie Kavanagh

I am a 2nd year NatSci student, studying neuroscience & psychology with STS. By studying STS, I have gained experience in writing about life science and the wider impacts it has socially and politically. I have written an article for the upcoming issue of Kinesis about the effects of music on Alzheimer’s, and have edited an article for the same issue. I really enjoy writing my own pieces, and also find it very interesting editing other people’s work and experiencing different writing styles. I find it very important while editing to make constructive changes that keep the individual writing style intact. I would love to have the chance to be one of the web editors for Kinesis.
