Fiona Laverty

I would love the opportunity to be the recreational and varsity captain for this season! I have such a passion and love for cheer and I want everyone to leave training sessions feeling supported and encouraged. I want the rec team to continue to be an inclusive session where everyone can stunt safely at different levels, and where everyone feels included whether you have come in a stunt group or come to the session on your own. There’s no better feeling than hitting a new skill for the first time and rec is a great opportunity to try new skills in a safe environment. As part of weekly training, I thought sessions could end with a stunt circle, which would be an opportunity for every stunt group to show what they have been working on in that session, cheered on by their teammates! For varsity, I would love to help Ana to create a fun and exciting varsity routine where everyone is included and feels like a valuable member of the team. I want to encourage us to have fun performing and serving face and keep our energy up and put out the best routine that we can!
