I am Михаела, I am proudly Bulgarian and I am in the third year of my Psychology BSc. 

I am passionate about Bulgarian culture and tradition. I must say my vegan banitsa absolutely slaps. I have loved traditional dancing since primary school (my fav horo is чичово хоро). As a Bulgarian living abroad, I greatly miss the sense of community fostered by these dances and am very passionate about bringing them to life in our university community!

I am excited about the opportunity of organising events such as:

• Dance Workshops
• Shevitsa Workshops
• Political Discussions (защото все някой трябва да оправи тая държава)
• Martenitsa Making
• Partying (bg style) lol

I would aim to make our society more inclusive and introduce non-Bulgarian students to the beauty of our culture and tradition!

My passion for Bulgarian culture along with my organisation, planning and creative skills make me a great fit for the role of vice president. I would be honoured to have the opportunity to contribute to the preservation of Bulgarian culture and the creation of a strong community.
