Defne Ogel

Merhaba! I’m Defne Ogel, and I’m excited to be a candidate for the Postgraduate Representative position in the Turkish Society. I’m currently studying for an MSc in Business Analytics, and I’m eager to help create meaningful connections among Turkish postgraduates. Through events where we can share experiences and exchange ideas, I aim to develop a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. Looking forward to building a dynamic postgraduate community!

Lal Oktener

Hi, I’m Lal. I’ve been a student at UCL for the past 3 years. I completed my bachelor’s in biomedical sciences last year and I am now studying a master’s in management! Being a UCL student for all these years, I have been aware of how little there is to offer to postgraduate students and I am here to change that! I have taken active roles in other societies at UCL and I have experience as the social secretary for the Biopharma Society. I am aware of the difficulties that postgraduate students face while trying to adjust to living and studying in London, therefore I want to help them by creating a sense of community. I am also here to bring voice to your other interests and concerns. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have!
