School of Pharmacy Society: Charity Secretary

I am interested in being more involved in fundraising activities within the School of Pharmacy at UCL. As a third-year pharmacy student at UCL, I want to be a charity secretary because it offers a unique opportunity to combine my academic knowledge with my passion for community service. This role will allow me to engage with various stakeholders, enhance my organisational skills, and support initiatives that promote health and well-being in the community such as raising awareness for specific health conditions (last month was breast cancer awareness). Being involved in charity work aligns with my values of empathy and service, enabling me to make a meaningful impact while also gaining valuable experience that complements my studies in pharmacy. Additionally, it will provide a platform to advocate for important health issues and contribute to projects that align with the needs and wants of service users whilst also enabling my colleagues within UCL to be a part of achieving aims to tackle these needs.
