Language Café
We're excited to introduce the Language Cafe, a student-led volunteering project! Our interactive workshops will run every Wednesday evening during term time, with each session focusing on a specific subject, like a doctor's appointment and related key vocabulary. We want to expand the horizons of English for adult speakers of other languages.

The Language Café offers ESOL workshops for adults. Our goal is to provide Survival English skills to the community in and around the UCL Bloomsbury Campus. The initiative holds weekly workshops (these are provisionally set to be held on Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 7:30pm). Each week will visit a new topic (e.g. career, transport, medicine and more) and expose participants to key vocabulary in this area.

Your role is to maintain our social media platforms and create a social media presence for the Language Café. You will help create designs for posts and announcements. Your goal is to increase engagement and outreach with potential participants and partners.

- Design posts, posters, announcements...

- Keep our social media updated and consistent

- Act as a point of contact for the Language Café through social media messaging
