Green City Projects
We enable access to gardening and green spaces for mental and physical well-being and build communities that make a difference to our local environment.
Description

We are excited to welcome a research volunteer to collaborate on St Paul’s Woodland Garden, a multi award-winning project supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. This initiative focuses in supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community. We have transformed a neglected part of a church outdoor space into a beautiful community woodland garden to provide a safe space and opportunities for people to come together to get involved with a range of activities. We would love to work with a research volunteer to perform a literature review that explores academic works related to horticulture and gardening therapy, specifically in the context of addressing mental health challenge.
