Calling all story and poetry lovers! Centre 404 is holding a poetry/story-telling workshop at its Camden Centre. Come and collaborate with our Service Users and Support Workers. We are looking to collect stories, phrases and snippets of conversations that could be used in the written word.
Following on from our workshop, we will hold another gathering with the UCL volunteers and a small team of Service User Volunteers and put together poems and stories for a final collection. We will then work with our Service Users and Volunteers to create art to accompany the poems and stories.
The aim is to design and print this collection and sell the booklet to raise money for our charity.
We would also like to hold a book launch on the UCL campus and share the collaborative work that you have made. We would encourage UCL students to help us set up this launch, read at the event and join us in this celebration of creativity.
