What’s it all about?

For the third in our series of specialist volunteering talks we are inviting students to join us on Wednesday 28 October 13:00 – 14:00 for a Health & Wellbeing Volunteering Talk

Student-Led Project Leaders and Charity partners Body and Soul, Eye Heroes, Sense and UCL Next Top Doctor will be joining to talk about their current volunteering roles, how to get involved and what the sector looks like. Many of the opportunities we will discuss will be virtual meaning volunteering without leaving home.

Once again, there will be a Q+A session at the end of the talk. This is a great way to find out what a health and wellbeing volunteer role looks like, how it can still help beneficiaries and what students can gain from taking part.

Volunteering in physical and mental health sectors can be really rewarding experiences, as well as a great opportunities to advance your career. The Volunteering Service partner with charities that promote a range of volunteering roles from befrienders, health education and outreach, support workers and researchers - we need you!

How can I get involved?

Book your free place on to our talk to join in Wednesday 28 October 13:00-14:00.

If you have missed this event you can still view all of our virtual roles on our volunteering directory and check out other scheduled events during October and November.
