Opportunity: February Half Term Family Event

Commitment:
One-off
Commitment - more information:
This is a one off event for February half term. You will be need to be on site for a briefing at 9:15 to approx 16:30. If you enjoy it there are opportunities for you to become a learning and engagement volunteer so do enquire about joining our team.
Opportunity description:

The Salters’ Company is a vibrant organisation eager to engage families, schools and adults. For this event we are exploring what is at the core of our charity work- science. Working with ‘Sphere Science’ on Tuesday 18 February we will be inviting families to partake in mini experiments which will capture their imagination. From designing their own lava lamps, writing with and discovering the scientific secret behind invisible ink to making grapes dance by changing the density of water these activities will capture the inner scientist in children and adults alike. You will be engaging the families helping them to leave excited about science and The Salters’ Company. But don’t worry, you don’t have to be a scientist to volunteer for this day. If you love meeting new people, learning and being part of a team then this is the role for you- and you will have a chance to try your hand at the activities after you have a full briefing on them on the day.

Aisha, our One-Off Ambassador, is attending this event.
