Training & Registration
To re-register your club or society with the Students’ Union, presidents and treasurers must complete online core training and annual registration on behalf of their club or society.
We recommend completing your training before you complete your registration documents, as the training we provide will help you to complete your registration documents correctly.
You must complete your training and registration by 5.00pm, Friday 27 June. If you haven't already done so, please complete your requirements as soon as possible.

Skills Sessions
- What are Skills Sessions?
At the Students’ Union, we are here to empower you and provide you with the skills you need for your personal and professional development.
We arrange bespoke skills sessions run by professional trainers, designed to help you gain new skills and enhance your existing skills. Are you a club or society officer, a student representative or community volunteer? Our skills sessions are designed to enable you to excel in your roles and reflect on your abilities as well as supporting you to develop the key skills needed by graduates entering employment.
Working with Up Skill 4 Life we have developed our new skills development programme specifically for you. These workshops will be delivered by Jonathan Day, Founder and Learning & Development Consultant at Up Skill 4 Life (www.upskill4life.com). Established in 2009, Up Skill 4 Life specialises in skills based training with a particular focus on leadership, management & graduate development. Jonathan has been fortunate enough to partner with an incredibly diverse client base; across the business, not-for-profit and university sectors. This places Jonathan in the unique position of both developing and learning from, many different teams, leaders and cultures. Jonathan’s philosophy towards training workshop design & delivery is simple – it should always be agile to a group’s needs, interactive and Never Use Slides.
Our sessions will be repeated through the year, so come along to whichever workshop(s) you have time join! The sessions are interactive, held after lectures finish and delivered over Zoom so you can access them where ever you are...
