Join Project Active in Discovering London
Looking to take a mindful break in nature? Join a free guided wellbeing walk through one of East London’s most peaceful green spaces.
Guided by one of our trained, passionate and experienced Park Champion Community Guide, come for a wander around the London Blossom Garden, the wetlands and Alfred’s Meadow. Those areas are known for being a great location to spot the Park’s wildlife and for their peacefulness, which will make it a perfect area for quiet contemplation and reflection.
Researchers have found a fascinating link between physical activity, access to green spaces and a reduced risk of mental health problems, improved mood and increased life satisfaction. This guided tour is available to up to 10 attendees, to ensure that all members are comfortable, relaxed and are able to easily engage if they wish to. It offers a safe space to get out, connect and meet like-minded people whilst learning more about the Park, its incredible biodiversity and green spaces.
