What is Education Zone?
Education Zone is a core democratic function of the Students' Union where a group of elected student representatives discuss, ideas and policy proposals relating to the academic experience at UCL.
The Education Officer is the Chair of Education Zone. If you would like to ask the Education Officer a question at an upcoming Education Zone, or if you would like to arrange a time to meet with them please complete this form here.
All students can attend these meetings and suggest ideas, but only elected representatives have the ability to vote on policy.
Education Zone meetings take place 5 times each academic year.
Who are the members of Education Zone?
Faculty Representative - from each level of study (UG, PGT and PGR) and from each Faculty (36)
Student Media are also invited as non-voting attendees to ensure our zones stay transparent and accountable.
