What to expect at UCL200 Touch Tennis:
As part of the Campus Celebration Event on 30th September, Project Active are delivering a pop-up Pickleball session. The session is a chance to get active, try something new and meet new people! It's free, beginner-friendly and super easy to join. Expect quick rallies, soft balls and big laughs. No booking needed, just show up and give it a go! 🎾
The session is designed to be:
- Beginner friendly
- Inclusive and welcoming
- Low commitment
- A great place for making new friends
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a friendly Project Active activator who will check your ticket sent to your email. You will have a chance to have a quick chat and get to know other participants whilst playing!
Session Description
Pop‑Up Pickleball is a quick, social mix of tennis, badminton and ping‑pong played on a small court with paddles and a light ball. It’s free, casual and fun! Just swing by and give it a go.
The session is beginner-friendly and open to all ability levels, with no previous experience needed. Go at your own pace and take breaks whenever you need to! Come along, have fun, try something new and enjoy getting active with the Project Active community!
🗺️ Location: Main Quad (North Mini Stage), Gower St, London WC1E 6AE
🥤Equipment: Please bring a water bottle with you to keep yourself hydrated throughout the event! No equipment will be required.
👕 What to wear:  Please wear clothing you feel comfortable in! We would encourage wearing sports clothing and trainers, as you will be playing sport.
Please note: If you have any medical conditions, injuries or other health concerns that may affect your participation, please inform the Project Active team before attending the event, so we can best accommodate your needs.
