Walk and Paint with ArtsUCL
Looking to take a mindful break in nature and get creative? Join us for a free, guided wellbeing walk through one of East London’s most peaceful green spaces with a relaxing art session to follow.
Start with a relaxing walk
Guided by one of our trained, passionate and experienced Park Champion Community Guides, we’ll take a gentle wander around the London Blossom Garden, the wetlands and Alfred’s Meadow. These areas are known for their natural beauty, incredible biodiversity and quiet atmosphere which is perfect for calm reflection and inspiration.
The join us for a painting session
After the walk, we’ll head back to Marshgate for a relaxed, inclusive painting session led in collaboration with ArtsUCL. Whether you’ve taken photos or simply been inspired by the sights, sounds and feelings of the park, this is your chance to creatively respond to the experience through painting. No experience is needed, this session is all about taking it easy, expressing yourself, and enjoying a moment of calm
Location: Meet Outside Marshgate Building Main Entrance / Marshgate Building, 7 Sidings St, London E20 2AE
