What to expect at Project Active Pop-Up Badminton:
Project Active are delivering a pop-up Badminton session to promote our weekly Pay and Play Badminton sessions. The session is a chance to have fun, get active and meet new people! It's free, beginner-friendly and super easy to join. Expect quick rallies, plastic shuttlecocks and big laughs. No booking needed, just show up and give it a go! 🎾
The session is designed to be:
- Beginner friendly
- Inclusive and welcoming
- Low commitment
- A great place for making new friends
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a friendly Project Active activator. You will have a chance to have a quick chat and get to know other participants whilst playing!
Session Description
Pop‑Up Badminton is a fun, casual hit‑around where you can drop in, pick up a racket and get playing. Free, friendly and low‑commitment- just show up and get involved!
The session is beginner-friendly and open to all ability levels, with no previous experience needed. Go at your own pace and take breaks whenever you need to! Come along, have fun, try something new and enjoy getting active with the Project Active community!
🗺️ Location: Main Quad (South Mini Stage), Gower St, London WC1E 6AE
🥤Equipment: Please bring a water bottle with you to keep yourself hydrated throughout the event! No equipment will be required.
👕 What to wear:  Please wear clothing you feel comfortable in! We would encourage wearing sports clothing and trainers, as you will be playing sport.
