Being involved in a sports club, the arts, a society, or a community-led project while studying is what truly makes your experience at UCL unforgettable. The students who help these communities thrive are invaluable, playing a really important role in creating the memories at UCL that will last a lifetime.

Each year, we celebrate the achievements of these clubs, societies, and individuals who have had a significant impact on student life at our four annual awards ceremonies at the end of May.

I’ve been so inspired by what our community has achieved this year, across so many different areas. The awards are a chance to come together and share these stories - I'm really looking forward to celebrating our amazing community

The shortlist

From the Commitment to Inclusivity Award to Best New Society and Sports Club of the Year, our awards are presented to those who have gone above and beyond, making the greatest contribution to our UCL communities. After receiving over 1,200 nominations, we can now reveal the shortlist for each category and award.

This year, we're introducing an award that will be voted for by you - Personality of the Year.

Cast your vote online between 12:00 on Monday 27 April and 12:00 on Friday 1 May for your Personality of the Year (arts, sports, media, societies), chosen from an outstanding shortlist of nominees. The winner will be announced at the ceremony in May!

Receptions, ceremonies and after parties

Each of the awards ceremonies will be taking place on Thursday 28 May and Friday 29 May in the Bloomsbury Theatre, and we will be hosting exclusive drinks receptions and after parties at XXX. This is your official invitation to get glammed up and come together to celebrate in style. Book your tickets to the Bloomsbury Theatre shows now as seats are selling out fast.

We can’t wait to recognise those who have helped make UCL a better place, going above and beyond to create the best student experience possible.
