What to expect at Project Active Pay and Play Indoor Climbing:
Our Pay and Play Indoor Climbing sessions are all about getting active, meeting new people and enjoying climbing at your own pace. Equipment is all provided, so all you need is your energy and enthusiasm.
Our Pay and Play Sessions are open to all UCL staff and students and are designed to be:
- Beginner friendly (no experience is needed)
- Low commitment
- Inclusive and welcoming
- A great place for making new friends
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a friendly Project Active activator who will check your ticket sent to your email. You will have a chance to have a quick chat and get to know other participants before beginning your session!
Session Description:
Join us for an exciting Pay & Play Climbing Session, ideal for beginners and experienced climbers! Come challenge yourself, build confidence, and have fun in a friendly, supportive environment. No membership needed- just book on, turn up, climb and enjoy an active session with friends. Give climbing a go and see how high you can reach!
Go at your own pace, there is no judgement in our sessions and remember all sessions are beginner friendly. So have fun, try a new activity and enjoy meeting new UCL friends at Project Active.
Location: Rise Climbing, Unit 6, Caxton Works, Hoy St, London E16 1ZA
Time: 16:00-17:00
Meeting Point: Please meet Conor inside the venue by 4PM. If you are more than 10 minutes late you may be unable to join the session, so please ensure you give adequate time to get to the venue.
Equipment: All equipment will be provided at the session, please bring a water bottle with you.
What to wear: Please wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in! (Sportswear is advised!)
Refund and transfer policy: All tickets are non-refundable unless there has been a class cancellation. Tickets cannot be transferred
Please note: If you have any medical conditions, injuries or other health concerns that may affect your participation, please inform the Project Active team before attending the session so we can best accommodate your needs.
