Discover Project Active Calisthenics

Our events are open to all UCL staff and students and are designed to be:  

  • Beginner friendly (no experience is needed)
  • Low commitment
  • Inclusive and welcoming
  • A great place for making new friends  

Join this taster session to practice hand balancing, as well as foundational bodyweight strength. The session will be open to all skill levels, and include guided workouts as well as technique work. 

If you enjoy our free taster session why not explore our Learn to... Calisthenics or Learn to... Handstand programmes which are four-six week courses that are designed for beginners to learn news skills in a supportive community.

Location:  The Pavilion, Gordon Square, London WC1H 0PQ

Instructor: Demi Alvanis

Equipment:  All equipment will be provided at the class, please bring a water bottle with you.  

What to wear: Please wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in, we advise sportwear! 

Please note: You may not be able to join the class if you are more than 10 minutes late to the class, due to health and safety and disruptions. Please make sure you give adequate time to get to the venue.
