What to expect at Project Active Pay and Play Indoor Climbing:
Project Active are collaborating with Rise Climbing for an Indoor climbing/bouldering session, which is open to everyone part of the UCL community.
No previous climbing experience required!!! Just come in clothes you are comfortable exercising in. (Sportswear is advised)!
Upon arrival, please ensure you register at the reception! Once registered, one of the Rise Climbing staff will get you climbing shoes and give you a quick induction. Then, you will be able to climb until the end of your session!
This session is not led by an instructor. If you would like to be taught how to climb, please visit our Learn to... programme!
Our weekly classes are open to all UCL staff and students and are designed to be:
- Beginner friendly (no experience is needed)
- Low commitment
- Inclusive and welcoming
- A great place for making new friends
Session Description:
Join us for an exciting Pay & Play Climbing Session, ideal for beginners and experienced climbers! Come challenge yourself, build confidence, and have fun in a friendly, supportive environment. No membership needed- just book on, turn up, climb, and enjoy an active session with friends. All equipment provided! Give climbing a go and see how high you can reach!
Go at your own pace, there is no judgement in our classes and remember all classes are beginner friendly. So have fun, try a new activity and enjoy meeting new UCL friends at Project Active!
Location: Rise Climbing, Unit 6, Caxton Works, Hoy St, London E16 1ZA
Time: 15:00-16:00
Meeting Point: Please meet Conor inside the venue by 3PM. If you are more than 10 minutes late you may be unable to join the session, so please ensure you give adequate time to get to the venue.
Equipment: All equipment will be provided at the session, please bring a water bottle with you.
What to wear: Please wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in! (Sportswear is advised!)
Refund and transfer policy: All tickets are non-refundable unless there has been a class cancellation. Tickets cannot be transferred
