Introduction to African Rooots in Latin Dance

Join us for an immersive workshop and social evening celebrating the profound African heritage foundational to Latin dance. Hosted by the Salsa Society in collaboration with the POC Network, this event moves beyond the steps to explore the cultural, historical, and spiritual lineages of movement.

Whether you are an experienced dancer or stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time, this session creates a welcoming, vibrant space to connect with community, honor cultural roots, and enjoy great music.

This is a welcoming, high-energy space designed completely for beginners- no prior dance experience, partner, or rhythm background required. Come ready to learn, move, and connect.
