Weโre excited to welcome Owen Ensor, CEO of Meatly, for a fireside chat on one of the most exciting and fast-moving areas in biotech right now ๐งฌ
Owen leads Meatly, a pioneering UK cultivated meat company that has gained major attention for its work in the cultivated pet food space. As the company continues to grow, Meatly has become one of the most talked-about startups in food tech and alternative protein, sitting at the intersection of biotechnology, sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship ๐
Before becoming CEO of Meatly, Owen started his career in management consulting at Bain & Company, giving him a really interesting career trajectory from consulting into startup leadership. His journey is a great example of how skills from strategy, problem-solving, and commercial thinking can translate into building and scaling a company in an emerging sector ๐
This event will be run in a fireside chat format ๐ค, so it will be a great opportunity to hear about:
- Owenโs career journey and move from Bain into biotech
- the story behind Meatly and its ambitions for the future
- the opportunities and challenges in the cultivated meat space
- what it takes to build a startup in a high-growth, high-impact industry
- careers in biotech, innovation, startups, and consulting
There will also be time for audience questions ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ, so itโs a great chance to engage directly, ask thoughtful questions, and build a connection with someone working at the forefront of a very exciting industry.
Whether youโre interested in biotech ๐งช, consulting ๐ผ, startups ๐, sustainability ๐ฑ, or future careers in innovation, this is a session you wonโt want to miss.
