Hockey - Taster Session (Men's)

Come and try Hockey at UCL!

Whether you’ve played hockey for years or have never picked up a stick before, our taster session is the perfect opportunity to give it a go and experience one of UCL’s biggest sporting communities.

UCL Men’s Hockey Club brings together players of all standards, from complete beginners to experienced performance-level players. We will be running multiple sessions that will cater to every level!

What to bring:

• Comfortable sports clothing
• Trainers or astroturf shoes
• Shin pads and a mouthguard if you have them
• A water bottle
• A hockey stick if you have one - but we’ll provide sticks for anyone who doesn’t

Where to meet us:

📍 Option 1 - Main Campus (Main Quad), 17:30
Meet us on campus and we’ll travel to the pitch together. It’s a great chance to meet everyone, get to know the club and ask us any questions before the session!

📍 Option 2 - Latymer Upper School Playing Fields Wood Lane, 18:30
If it’s easier, you can meet us directly at the pitch. It’s around a 10-minute walk from both Wood Lane (Circle and Hammersmith & City lines) and White City (Central line).
