- Hosted by Nature and Conservation Society
Saturday the 17th we will be holding the first bird walk of 2026!
We're starting this term off right by exploring Hampstead Heath 🌳 Boasting over 180 different species of birds, including tawny owls, great spotted woodpeckers and a pair of Kingfishers! It's also a great site for butterflies, bats and other insect and plant species 🐛
Hampstead Station is 20 mins from Bloomsbury Campus by tube. We're meeting at East Heath Car Park, live location will be posted on the day.
No previous experience required but feel free to bring along your niche expertise and ID books. We want to hear all about why your favourite fungi is the best fungi ⭐
Good to Know:
We are able to supply some binoculars, but if you have your own please do bring them along :)
We're expecting cold weather so wrap up warm 🌧️ Keep an eye on our socials for any weather updates on the day.
