We've seen the glamour and glitz that big-budget Nolan can pull off with his rendition of The Odyssey. But have you heard of Epic the Musical?
It started as an ambitious Master's thesis during COVID. Now, it's a global internet sensation, almost entirely crowd-produced by passionate fans and set to be produced as a feature-length animated film. Full of creativity, spectacle and flair, Jorge-Rivera Herrans' masterpiece could be your thing - ESPECIALLY if you're done with corporate-minded, overly-intellectual and lacking film productions (👀).
Musical Theatre Society will host Act 2 next week, so stay tuned for that! We'll see you on Friday, ready to sing (or just watch!) your heart out.
