Wheelchair Tennis Social Session
This friendly and inclusive wheelchair tennis social is a great opportunity for both UCL students and community members to get involved, have fun, and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Led by Sam Bracken, this session is designed for anyone who is curious about wheelchair tennis, wants to improve their game, or simply enjoys playing in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Each session includes:
- 1 hour of coaching – focusing on key skills, movement, positioning, and confidence on court
- 1 hour of match play and social tennis – putting what you’ve learned into practice and enjoying games with others
Whether you’re brand new to wheelchair tennis or already have some experience, Sam will support you throughout the session, helping you learn at your own pace and feel comfortable on court. There’s no pressure — just good tennis, good people, and plenty of encouragement.
This is also a brilliant chance to learn more about adaptive sport, challenge yourself, and be part of a growing wheelchair tennis community at UCL and beyond.
Chairs will be provided (6 total). Please bring your own tennis rackets or message if you require one to play!
📍 Location: Lee Valley Tennis Centre
📅 Starting: Friday 13th February
⏰ Time: 6:00–8:00 PM
Come along, get involved, and discover how fun and rewarding wheelchair tennis can be — both on and off the court.
