UCL Baseball Taster Session #1
We are happy to invite you to our first taster session of the year. The session is open to players of all skill levels, including complete beginners to the sport!
When: Thursday, 8th October, 12:30pm - 5:30pm
Where: London Mets Baseball & Softball Club, Finsbury Park
Owing to the huge - and greatly appreciated - interest in our Club this year, we needed to change our plans and make this session a limited spaces, ticketed (free!) event. To compensate, we are planning to host further sessions next week, so that everyone has a chance to try out this beautiful game for themselves.
Please make sure that you have joined the Club with at least a (free) Taster Membership before the session.
The session is divided into two parts:
- Training (12:30pm - 2:30pm) - the perfect way to learn the foundations of baseball. Experienced team members will guide you through the basics and rules of the game, focusing on throwing and hitting. Advanced players joining the Club are more than welcome to participate; we will make sure to have appropriate training for you too!
- Practice Game (3pm - 5:30pm) - a chance to put your skills to use! We will play one or two practice games, aiming to get everyone to participate. You are welcome to join even if you did not go to the initial training (a ticket is still needed to take part).
Future taster sessions will appear on the site once their dates and times are confirmed. Please book a ticket for only one session.
